21 November 2018 | Written by Chris Alexander

AirAsia is set to move its international flight operations at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 from 12th December 2018. Thereafter, all AirAsia flights, including domestic routes, will operate from a single terminal.

With the exception of the terminal, all AirAsia flight schedules will remain unchanged. Passengers are advised to check-in via airasia.com or use the airline’s AirAsia mobile app, then print their boarding passes before leaving to the airport. They are also reminded to arrive at the airport no later than 3 hours before their flights are scheduled to depart. Guests are encouraged to proceed immediately to the airport’s immigration counters and arrive at the boarding gate 45 minutes before take-off.

AirAsia counters for baggage drop, check-in and other services will be located at counters 73-80, Gate 4 on the departure level (2nd floor) of Terminal 2F. Guests without checked baggage may also use AirAsia self-service kiosks located near the counters for check-in, or to reprint boarding passes. During the transition, AirAsia staff will provide assistance to guests in need of direction at the terminal.

For more information and assistance, passengers flying with AirAsia can contact the airline directly through its customer support channels at support.airasia.com
