Alila SCBD Jakarta is the latest new venue in the city to host business or social events. Located right next door to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, this five-star hotel has unveiled two unique event spaces, now available for booking.
Situated at ground level, Alila’s Artisian Bar is designed as a gathering space for the artisan community. Spanning 512 sqm, this high-ceilinged space offers an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for creative events and chill-out gatherings, where guests can enjoy drinks and conversation amongst the minimalist and modern décor.
As they mingle, guests can also admire the many pieces of curated artworks from across Indonesia that adorn walls and niches, celebrating the artistic heritage of regions and indigenous cultures such as South Sulawesi, East Java, and Kalimantan’s Dayak tribe.
The artisan theme continues in the Artisian Bar’s wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which include espressos, pour overs and cocktails prepared with choices of high-quality local and imported coffee beans.
Signature beverages include the Espresso Tonic – a bitter tonic paired with a shot of espresso made from medium-dark roasted beans; JKT Confidential – a butterfly pea flower-infused mango vodka, tequila and lime cocktail that delivers sweet and tangy notes; and Cafe Punch – an espresso martini crafted from dark rum, sweet vermouth, orange, cinnamon and a shot of espresso.
Alila SCBD’s Event Gallery on the third floor is designed to accommodate product launches, art exhibitions, fashion shows and cocktail parties. This unique U-shaped gallery is enclosed by floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the space with natural light and panoramic views of the cityscape by day, which transforms into a spectacular backdrop of city lights as the sun goes down.
Spanning 714 sqm in total, the gallery can accommodate up to 769 guests standing. It can also be divided into two smaller spaces – a 313 sqm South Gallery and 410 sqm North Gallery. In addition, the gallery connects directly to the hotel’s stunning outdoor Catwalk Pool and terrace, offering an incredible spill-out area surrounded by skyline views.
