Amnaya Resort Kuta Rebrands and Re-launches
28 August 2017 | Written by Chris Alexander

Previously known as Alaya Resort Kuta, the popular Bali hotel has rebranded and reopened its doors, effective 1st September 2017.

The Amnaya Resort’s rebranding was inspired by the eponymous ancient Sanskrit word meaning family and tradition. These themes are embodied in every aspect of the guest experience, from the resort’s interior design, to its culinary philosophy, rituals and celebrations, which reflect the importance of local communities and traditions.

The re-branding incorporates a series of renovations, including an expanded range of in-room amenities and in-house recreational activities available to guests.

Visitors to the Amnaya Resort Kuta can now enjoy a range of therapies and spa treatments at the resort’s Bhava Spa – open daily from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. The Bhava Spa has been designed by Moroccan-born interior decorator Zohra Boukhari, a native of Bali for the past decade.

In further developments that reflect the resort’s connection to both local style and international design excellence, the Sukun Restaurant provides a range of cuisine from across Indonesia, in an environment that reflects the resort’s international flavour. Diners can be served a la carte or family style in an eclectic, spacious area designed by Ground Kent Architects and the late Made Wijaya, adorned with contemporary sculptures by the celebrated Pintor Sirait.

The Amnaya Resort Kuta is the flagship of a what will become a series of 4-star boutique properties owned and operated by PT Tibi Modern Sentosa. Following the current rebranding and launch of the Amnaya Resort Kuta, the Company is scheduled to open another boutique Amnaya Resort property at Nusa Dua in 2019.
