Bukit Pananjakan Bromo will be closed for three months from 11^th September to 10^th December 2017 due to scheduled renovation works. The news was confirmed by Indonesia’s Ministry of Nature & Forestry.

Bukit Pananjakan is the highest viewpoint from which visitors to the Bromo caldera can view the volcano. During the renovation period, two other viewing areas – named Bukit Kingkong and Bukit Cinta respectively – will still be open and available to the public.
