Emirates Confirms New Direct Flights to Bali

Emirates have announced they will open a new flight network featuring direct routes to Denpasar in Bali, starting 14th June 2018. The service will form the centrepiece of a new route connecting Dubai to New Zealand, allowing for greater ease of travel and higher numbers of tourists visiting Indonesia on long-haul flights.

The new route is Emirates’ third service connecting Dubai to New Zealand, although it is the airline’s first to transit in Bali. As with the airline’s other ‘Fifth Freedom’ flights, passengers will be able to travel solely to Bali from either location, without needing to complete the full journey from Auckland to Dubai or vice versa.

The new service will depart from Dubai at 6:55 AM and arrive in Denpasar at 8:20 PM. From Auckland, the return flight will depart for Bali at 12:40 PM and arrive in Denpasar at 5:55 PM. This same service with depart from Bali at 7:50 PM and arrive in Dubai at 12:45 AM.

Emirates’ new route will be served by a fleet of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, each with a capacity for 42 business-class passengers and 304 in economy. This new route will also introduce Emirates’ first class to Bali, as the airline’s current Bali-Dubai flights offer only business class and economy. The new flights feature eight state-of-the-art first-class cabins, allowing for the upmost in luxury, comfort and relaxation during the journey.

Emirates operate a fleet of more than 230 aircraft flying to over 150 destinations worldwide. The airline features the world’s biggest fleets of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, offering customers the comforts of the latest and most efficient wide-body aircraft in the skies. Emirates was voted Best Airline in the World in the 2017 Travellers’ Choice Awards by Tripadvisor, and also won Best Airline at the 2016 Skytrax Awards.
