Garuda Indonesia has been named in the top 10 airlines worldwide, according to the latest awards from Trip Advisor.
Trip Advisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards 2017 create rankings based on reviews and ratings submitted by travelers over the last 12 months.
Despite announcing a significant drop in profits over the past year, requiring major surgery in its management structure, the Indonesian National Air Carrier Garuda Indonesia has clearly not allowed standards to slip, as Garuda still managed to score highly in all areas when rated by travellers.
The impressive scores helped Garuda to squeeze into the top 10 Airlines Worldwide compiled by Trip Advisor. Garuda was also ranked number 5 among the best airlines in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The award follows last month’s confirmation of Bali as the world’s best holiday destination according to TripAdvisor.
