21 February 2018 | Written by Chris Alexander

Sudamala Resorts have announced their acquisition of the Balinese boutique resort Pondok Laut. The news caps a remarkable year of growth for Sudamala, with the brand growing its portfolio from two to a total of five resorts since the start of 2017.

Pondok Laut is a rustic beach boutique resort located in Amed, in the Karangasem province of Bali, famed for its stunning ocean views and stellar dive sites. This charming beachfront lodge will shortly undergo a rebranding project to become Amed Lodge and will be managed by Sudamala Resorts, with the expected reopening date slated for May 2018.

The addition of Amed Lodge into the Sudamala Resorts portfolio signifies a strong commitment by the hospitality group to be a major player in the boutique resorts space in Indonesia. Sudamala Resorts already own and operate properties in Bali, Lombok and Flores.
