As part of a landmark agreement signed with Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Hilton Hotel Group is set to open Conrad Kuala Lumpur in 2021. The project marks Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ first foray into Malaysia under Hilton’s global luxury brand.
Conveniently located within Kuala Lumpur’s ‘Golden Triangle’ district, just an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the hotel will form part of a mixed-use development project that also includes an office tower and a range of local amenities for business and leisure travellers alike.
When completed, the Conrad Kuala Lumpur will feature a total of 544 luxurious rooms and suites, along with an all-day dining restaurant, two speciality restaurants, a bar, business centre, spa, fitness centre, swimming pool and spacious MICE facilities, comprising 3,400m² of meeting and events space.
Hilton currently operates a total of 11 properties in Malaysia across its three major brands – Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn. The company has nine more hotels in the pipeline, slated to open in sequence between now and 2025. This range of new projects includes five hotels under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, and another under the Canopy by Hilton lifestyle brand.
