Day 01 Balikpanan – Loa Janan – Muara Muntai  (L,D)
Upon arrival at BALIKPAPAN airport, you will be met and transferred to LOA JANAN by coach. Aboard a HOUSEBOAT for an exciting venture trip on the MAHAKAM River and proceed to MUARA MUNTAI. There are many interesting spots can be seen along the river. Unless otherwise indicated, meals and accommodation will be taken on the Houseboat.

Day 02  Muara Muntai–Jempang Lake–Tanjung Isuy-Melak    (B,L,D)                                                                          
After breakfast, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour through the local villages to see the daily activities of the DAYAK tribes, including the floating shops, houses, and restaurants. You then cross the Jempang Lake by chartered motorized canoe to witness beautiful mountain landscape, river creeks, JANTUR the fishermen village. Continue to TANJUNG ISUY, where you will be able to observe the daily life style of the local BENUAQ DAYAKS and see their fascinating long houses. Also see on how they make their traditional costumes by hand weaving using the local stuff called DOYO GRASS. Lunch will be served at Tanjung Isuy, where you are welcomed and entertained by the people of Benuaq Dayak Tribe. A cultural dance will be performed. After lunch, return to the houseboat at Muara Muntai and continue the voyage up the Mahakam River to MELAK Village.

Day 03 Muara Muntai–Kersik Luway–Eheng–Sekolaq Darat-Tenggarong  (B,L,D)               
At Melak, you will visit EHENG Village and experiencing a journey by truck and motorcycle to see a Benuaq Dayak long-house, which is still in its original state with its primitive furnishings and decorations – it’s a unique and unforgettable experience! You will also visit the natural ORCHID Forest at KERSIK LUWAY, which extend over 5,000 acres and contains of more than 60 different species of orchid, including the extremely rare Colegnia Pandurata or the BLACK ORCHID. Proceed to SEKOLAQ DARAT to see the JANTUR GEMURUH Waterfall. After all this excitements, return to the Houseboat and relax. Float-down the river back to TENGGARONG.

Day 04 Tenggarong–Loa Janan–Samarinda–Balikpapan    (B,L,D)                                                       
After breakfast, you can visit TENGGARONG City to see the palace of the former Sultan Kutai KARTANEGARA, go to the museum and see the Sultan’s collections, the Royal Cemetery; and the local market. Continuing down the river you reach SAMARINDA City, this is the end of your Mahakam River Boat Cruise. You leave your Houseboat for the drive by coach to BALIKPAPAN. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Balikpapan.

Day 05 Departure Balikpapan     (B,L,D)                    
Breakfast at hotel. At the appropriate time transfers to the airport for your onward flight departure.
