16 December 2019 | Written by Chris Alexander

The brand-new Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit is set to open for business in the first quarter of 2020, according to the latest news from the Singapore-based hotel group. To celebrate their expansion into Thailand, Carlton’s grand opening in Bangkok will be accompanied by special offers to be enjoyed by guests at the new hotel.

Located in the heart of Sukhumvit Road, the 34-storey Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit will feature a total of 338 rooms and suites, along with an outdoor pool, a kids’ play area, fitness centre, spa, gym, and a range of dining options, including the signature Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant and a rooftop bar. With over 1,200 m2 of meeting and event space, the hotel will also be an ideal destination for MICE travellers, where boardroom meetings, exhibitions and grand banquets can cater for up to 600 people.

For a limited time in 2020, guests at Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit can claim a 15% discount on any room category, which includes daily breakfast. In addition, a further 20% discount can be enjoyed at the hotel’s F&B outlets (excluding Wah Lok restaurant), along with a celebratory glass of Chandon Brut sparkling wine and complimentary late check-out. This special offer is valid for bookings made from now until March 31, 2020, for stays throughout March 2020.

Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit is set to become Carlton Hotel Group’s first property in Thailand. Expanding on their regional success, the group will look to emulate their flagship property, the Carlton Hotel Singapore; a 940-room upscale hotel with 13 meeting and events spaces, an award-winning Wah Lok Cantonese restaurant, all-day dining Café Mosaic, Tuxedo Cafe & Pâtisserie, a gym and swimming pool. Taking a leaf out of the book of its Singapore neighbour, the new Bangkok hotel from Carlton is tailored to the needs of upmarket business travellers and families, offering luxury facilities and connectivity in one of Thailand’s premium hotel locations.
