The Aman luxury resort brand has confirmed they will open a brand-new property in Bangkok, slated to open in 2022. Aman signed a long-term partnership with Nai Lert Group, which will involve the development of a hotel and branded residences in the Thai capital. The new hotel will be Aman’s second in Thailand, following the Amanpuri in Phuket. Construction of the new hotel is due to get underway in the coming months.
“The Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will further cement our vision to bring the Aman ethos to global citiesâ€, said Vladislav Doronin, who is the Chairman and CEO of Aman.
Located in beautiful and scenic central city parkland, the new hotel will be a mixed-use project, combining residential accommodation with leisure and business facilities. This will make it the ideal base for holidaymakers, business travellers and long-term residents in the capital. The new partnership with Aman also underlines the Nai Lert Group’s first move into the ultra-luxury market.
Aman currently has a total of 38 hotels and resorts in 22 destinations across the world. The group was founded in 1988 alongside Amanpuri, and has since grown both its portfolio and reputation for high-end accommodation in diverse locations throughout Southeast Asia and beyond. In addition to the new Bangkok property, a number of other luxury hotels are slated to open in the next few years: Aman Kyoto (2019), Aman New York (2020) and Amanvari in Mexico (2020).
