Pattaya Set to Welcome Second Hilton Property
06 December 2019 | Written by Chris Alexander

Hilton Hotels have announced their Hilton Garden Inn brand will soon make its debut in Pattaya, following a management agreement signed with Honour Hotel and Retail Co. Ltd. The brand-new Hilton Garden Inn Pattaya City is expected to officially open in 2022.

Located in North Pattaya, the Hilton Garden Inn Pattaya City will feature a total of 315 rooms ranging from 26m² to 52m² Two Bay Suites. Other features on the drawing board include an all-day restaurant, bar and fitness centre, along with extensive on-site parking. The hotel will form part of a mixed-use development project that is set to feature more than 2,000m² of space devoted to commercial and retail projects, as well as a 427-unit residential tower.

The hotel will be situated close to Pattaya Beach, a popular four-kilometre stretch of coastline that’s packed with a variety of beach activities, including parasailing and jet skiing. Just a short drive from the new Terminal 21 mall and Central Festival Pattaya, the city’s flagship shopping mall, the hotel will offer a range of dining, retail and entertainment options within easy reach of its doorstep.

“We are thrilled to launch our focused service brand in another key location in Thailand, one of our fastest-growing markets in South East Asia today,” said Paul Hutton, Vice President, Operations, South East Asia, Hilton. “Pattaya is regarded as one of Thailand’s primary tourist destinations, and with the expansion of the U-Tapao Airport set to boost inbound tourism from 800,000 to five million tourists post-2020, we have an opportunity to cater to the projected increase in arrivals. We are confident the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Pattaya City in 2022 will be a welcome addition to meet the evolving needs of these savvy travellers,” he added.

The Hilton Garden Inn Pattaya City will become the second Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Thailand confirmed this year, following the announcement of the upcoming Hilton Garden Inn Bangkok in June. There is also one other hotel managed by Hilton in Pattaya, operating under the flagship Hilton brand.

The award-winning Hilton Garden Inn brand provides business and leisure guests with upscale, affordable accommodation and unexpected amenities for an experience that the company describes as ‘simply on another level.’ As a recognized F&B leader, Hilton Garden Inn serves locally sourced food and beverages at its full-service restaurants and bars, featuring cooked-to-order breakfast, handcrafted cocktails, along with a range of snacks and refreshments.

Hilton is a leading global hospitality company with a portfolio of 17 world-class brands comprising nearly 6,000 properties and more than 954,000 rooms in 117 countries and territories worldwide. Hilton recently earned a spot on the 2019 World’s Best Workplaces list, and has welcomed more than 3 billion guests in its 100-year history.
