Coming Soon: Pullman Phu Quoc
14 July 2020 | Written by Chris Alexander

From 1st August, 2020, the white sands of Long Beach (Bai Truong) on the western shores of Phu Quoc island will welcome Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort; a luxury upscale property, offering  twin rooms and spacious family suites in a spectacular location.

Pullman’s new flagship resort is situated just 10 minutes’ drive from the airport, on a 150-metre stretch of tropical island coastline. Designed to combine lifestyle and design, facilities cater for business and leisure travel; these include The Lighthouse Bar, Pullman Fit and Connectivity Lounge – all open 24/7. The Executive Beachfront Lounge remains closed until further notice, although eligible guests can still enjoy its benefits in other food & beverage outlets throughout the hotel.

Although Vietnam is currently open to international tourism, hotel providers such as Pullman continue to proceed with caution, in an effort to ensure the safety of guests and the continued integrity of Vietnam’s COVID-19 response, which to date has been a singular success.

“At Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort, the well-being and health of our guests and staff are of the utmost importance,” says Pieter De Weerd, who is the Hotel Manager. “For safety reasons in the wake of COVID-19, we will only operate a limited number of outlets and functional facilities until further notice,” he added.

The beachfront resort has a total of 331 rooms, suites, cabanas and a villa, ideal for business travellers, couples and families travelling with children. All rooms feature iPod docking stations and minibars, along with complimentary wireless Internet access. All feature a spacious balcony or a private terrace with views of either the ocean or the resort’s gardens and swimming pools.

In these post-pandemic times, the resort has been conceived and configured to offer travellers a refreshing break in natural surroundings, with health and safety taken care of. Designed by Spanish architect and urban planner Salvador Pérez Arroyo, Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort makes the most of its natural surroundings; around 80% of the property comprises either greenery of golden sands, allowing guests to immersive themselves in the restorative power of nature.

Pullman Hotels and Resorts is an upscale international hotel brand owned by AccorHotels, with more than 117 hotels and resorts in 39 countries worldwide. From August, Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort will officially become the group’s fifth resort in Vietnam, joining a portfolio of chic international properties in destinations such as Danang, Hanoi, Saigon and Vung Tau.
