12 November 2019 | Written by Chris Alexander

As part of an agreement signed with Ho Tram Project Company (HTP), InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is set to rebrand The Grand Ho Tram Hotel at Ho Tram Strip integrated resort. As part of the ambitious new project, which is set to include major renovations and refurbishment, the property will soon commence operations under a new name: InterContinental Grand Ho Tram.

The InterContinental Grand Ho Tram will feature a total of 433 rooms, along with three dining establishments and a new area dedicated to retail and entertainment, where guests can enjoy a selection of restaurants, bars, lounges, clubs and even a casino. Within the hotel itself, they can also find a gym, spa and golf course.

In addition to the rebranding of an existing property, IHG are also set to unveil a brand-new build: the Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach. Slated to open in 2020, the 502-room resort will be the first of its kind by IHG in Vietnam, offering a homely ambiance and multiple facilities suited to family vacations. In addition to expansive swimming pools and a 360-degree rooftop bar, the hotel will also provide convenient access to a cinema, waterpark, bowling alley and food court.

For business travellers, IHG’s two new properties in Ho Tram will also provide a convenient array of MICE facilities, including a convention centre, ballroom, multiple meeting rooms, casino and dining establishments. With a capacity for up to 1,300 guests, each resort can comfortably accommodate large meetings, seminars, corporate functions and exhibitions. The group is already planning to further extend these facilities to welcome up to 3,000 people.

The InterContinental Hotels Group has been operating for over 70 years in more than 180 locations around the world. With a total of 13 hotels already operational in Vietnam, IHG has also shown its commitment to expanding nationwide. Other properties under the InterContinental brand include the Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, the Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort and a flagship property in Ho Chi Minh City.
