Lombok packs many interesting attractions into a relatively small area of land

What to Expect

Lombok, located in the West Nusa Tenggara province and part of the Lesser Sunda Islands. With Lombok Strait separating the island from Bali to the west. Being close to Bali does not mean having similarities in cultures. Perhaps, Lombok is well known for its own Sasak Culture. The culture itself is predominantly Muslim and they are scattered all over the island of Lombok. This tribe has a total population of 3.6 million people, which covers 85% of the total population in Lombok.

Other than culture, Lombok packs many interesting attractions into a relatively small area of land. Here you will find sandy beaches, volcanoes, dense jungle and ornate farmland. Travelling around Lombok is a journey from mountain peak to coral coast; through tranquil villages, ancient cultural traditions and thriving coastal settlements. This trip will take you to some of Lombok’s most captivating sights, from the lush green inland and its cascading waterfalls, to monkey forests and spectacular cliff-top views of sunset over the ocean.
