Lombok, located in the West Nusa Tenggara province and part of the Lesser Sunda Islands. With Lombok
Strait separating the island from Bali to the west. Being close to Bali does not mean having similarities in
cultures. Perhaps, Lombok is well known for its own Sasak Culture. The culture itself is predominantly
Muslim and they are scattered all over the island of Lombok. This tribe has a total population of 3.6 million
people, which covers 85% of the total population in Lombok.
Other than culture, Lombok packs many interesting attractions into a relatively small area of land. Here you
will find sandy beaches, volcanoes, dense jungle and ornate farmland. Travelling around Lombok is a journey
from mountain peak to coral coast; through tranquil villages, ancient cultural traditions and thriving coastal
settlements. This trip will take you to some of Lombok’s most captivating sights, from the lush green inland
and its cascading waterfalls, to monkey forests and spectacular cliff-top views of sunset over the ocean.
Day 1
Arrival Lombok – Senggigi

A warm welcome awaits as you arrive at Lombok’s international airport. You will be greeted by our professional and licensed guide who will escort you to your hotel selection in Lombok. With fewer tourists and a noticeably different atmosphere, Lombok offers something different compared to the neighboring island of Bali. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure.

Day 2
Akar-akar Village – Senaru Village – Tiu Kelep Waterfall – Sembalun

Breakfast served at the hotel. Your assigned guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby for your full day excursion to the northern of the island. Starts with a scenic drive along the west coast of Lombok passing through some coastal villages with as stop at a traditional Tanjung Market for an opportunity to sample some fresh fruits or snacks. Continue driving to Akar Akar village in Bayan district to discover the culture of indigenous Sasak in their traditional village. Arrived at Senaru village, proceed to Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gile Waterfall. Situated about 600 metres above sea level, the Sendang Gile waterfall is approximately 31 metres in height and the refreshing water is believed to come from the ‘fountain of youth’. After getting refreshed at the waterfall, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to drive towards your hotel in Sembalun Lawang village. Check-in and home-cooked dinner is provided at a local homestaya short drive away.

Day 3
Panorama Walk – Waterfalls – Monkey Forest – Senggigi

Early breakfast is served at the hotel. At 07:00hrs,
drive to the starting point of your escorted 3-hour
panoramic walk. Known as the paradise on the slope
of Mount Rinjani for its fertile soil and wonderful
scenery. A guided leisure walk leads you through
tropical vegetation of fruits, vegetable and rice fields
with the rolling hills in the background. Take in the
fresh air and observe the local farmers harvesting,
learn more about the variety of vegetables, the
farming techniques and the different harvesting
season until you reach Bamboo Garden. End the
walking trail at the ancient village of Beleq.
After lunch at a local berugak, return to the hotel to
freshen up and check out. The day continues with a
drive to Benang Stokel. Arrive at the first waterfall
after a short trek, enjoy the refreshing water. The
second waterfall Benang Kelambu is nestled amidst
the canopy of trees. After enjoying the water, it is
time to return to Senggigi area. Drive along the
beautiful stretch of cliff tops along the north coast,
with a stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Snap some
photos when we stop briefly at the monkey forest,
then continue on to Nipah Beach for a relaxing
afternoon on the beach while soaking up the
spectacular sunset. Arrive at the hotel in Senggigi,
check in and dinner is provided at the hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. Check out at the designated time depending on your flight schedule. Transfer to Lombok International Airport for your onward flight to next destination with memories of the waterfalls.
