01 January 2017 | Written by Chris Alexander

The peak holiday season over the Christmas period in Bali has seen many arrivals and exciting new offerings. One of the newest attractions in Indonesia’s paradise island is Krisna Funtastic Land, a brand new amusement park located in the village of Temukus in Buleleng, North Bali.

The park opened in late 2016 and has seen a marked increase in the number of daily visitors during December and January. Over the holiday period, an average of 7,000 visitors came to Funtastic Land – an increase from the previous average of 2,000. Thrill seekers who made the trip were made up of a mix of foreign and domestic tourists.

Among the many attractions on offer are Airborne Shot, Dragon Coaster, Singaraja Flyer, Flying Cakra, Boom Boom Car, Inflatable Castle, Roda Gila, Viking Boat and a flight simulator that lets visitors take the controls of an airliner.

The park is an Indonesian take on the classic western funfair – a perfect place for families to enjoy an evening out together, with many attractions designed for small children.

Krisna Funtastic Land is open daily from 4:00pm until 10:00pm. Admission to the park is Rp10,000 on weekdays and Rp15,000 on weekends (approximately 1USD). The cost of individual rides ranges from Rp8,000 to Rp20,000. Tickets are also available at Rp95,000 per person, which allows free access to all rides.
