Indonesia’s Papua Paradise Eco Resort and Gangga Island Resort and Spa have both been nominated for the “Top 25 Dive Resorts in the World” category at the 2019 DIVE Travel Awards. The awards are assigned by DIVE; a renowned scuba diving magazine that is available both in print and via digital platforms.

Papua Paradise Eco Resort is located in Raja Ampat, West Papua; a renowned bucket list destination for divers from around the world. The resort offers guests luxury, while also preserving the natural environment of Raja Ampat. The high density of marine biodiversity in this area ranges from rays, to dugongs, sharks, endless schools of fish, vast expanses of coral gardens and more.

Gangga Island Resort & Spa is located off the coast of Manado – around 20 minutes by speedboat – in North Sulawesi Province. The resort is ideally located for exploring the nearby diving sites like Bangka Island, Bunaken Marine Park and the Lembeh Strait. After diving, visitors will come home to a bungalow elegantly furnished with dark wood and local textiles.

Gangga Island Resort & Spa and Papua Paradise Eco Resort are part of Lotus Hotels. Surrounded by Indonesia’s most beautiful marine life, the hotels hold reputations as some of the best diving resorts in the archipelago. Besides Raja Ampat and North Sulawesi, Lotus Hotels’ properties can also be found in Bali and The Gili Islands.

Each Lotus Hotels Resort is home to Gangga Divers, a professional dive centre. The centre offers services with high international standards of diving safety and various options for dive adventures. Gangga Divers’ professional dive instructors teach and assist divers, from true beginners to the most experienced.
