NusaBay Lembongan Closure
17 October 2016 | Written by Chris Alexander

NusaBay Lembongan Resort has announced it will be closing down after 24 years in operation. The resort, formerly know as Waka Nusa, will close early next month.

In a statement released by Made Sutarjana, President Director of PT Waka Di Nusa, the organization confirmed the news, whilst also thanking their customers and partners: “I would like to convey our gratitude and high appreciation for your support towards NusaBay Lembongan resort for all this time”, said Mr. Sutarjana.

NusaBay has closed due to the expiry of its lease for the land on which the resort is located. The company had been in protracted discussions with the landowner for more than a year, but was unable to successfully renegotiate terms for another deal.

The existing lease will expire on 5th November 2016, at which point the resort will close its doors and end operations. NusaBay Lembongan expressed their apologies for any inconveniences caused by this development and are working to resolve any issues related to outstanding bookings.
