Jakarta, 23 October 2017 – Panorama Destination has been named in the prestigious “50 Best of The Best Companies 2017” awarded annually by Forbes Indonesia magazine.
Held in the ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta, the event was attended by 400 guests, including directors and senior executives from the 50 companies featured on the list. Panorama Destination joins this elite group for the first time and has been placed at #44, in a result that is both indicative of the company’s growing stature and emblematic of its success over the past year.
Pak Ricky Setiawanto collected the award on behalf of Panorama Destination at the gala dinner and awards ceremony. Marcel Schneider, Managing Director of Panorama Destination Indonesia was also in attendance, along with Pak Budi Tirtawisata, CEO of Panorama Group.
Companies featured in the prestigious list are chosen through a rigorous selection process, which evaluates candidates’ performances in several key metrics, including sales growth, profit growth and return on equity. To make the grade, companies must therefore perform well across the board, rather than excelling in only one or two metrics; they must also demonstrate sustainable performance and success over several years.

Panorama has shown sustainable development and expansion in the Indonesian tourism sector over the past year, riding the momentum of industry growth as the number of tourist arrivals to Indonesia continues to increase. In 2016, the company registered a 50% growth in income compared to the previous year.
