From May 7th this year, Qatar Airways will commence operations on a new non-stop daily route from Doha’s Hamad International Airport to Bali Denpasar.
The new flight schedule is actually the third of its kind offered by Qatar Airways on the existing route; the popularity of the service is indicative of high demand from passengers flying to Bali from Europe and the Middle East.
Bali has long been a popular destination for Qatar Airways’ passengers; the airline offered its first direct service back in 2014, and has since expanded their schedule to a twice daily frequency. The additional flight is expected to reduce travellers’ connecting times to Bali, with one quick international transfer at Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said in a statement: “The start of triple daily non-stop services from Doha to Bali Denpasar offers passengers from our global network even greater access to this popular leisure destination, with smooth international transfers and a variety of times to suit their own schedules.”To mark the new service, Qatar Airways is also offering a promotional discount, allowing passengers to save up to 50% on economy class and 35% on business class when flying on the new schedule.
The newest flight will be serviced by Qatar Airways’Boeing 787 Dreamliner. One of the world’s newest aircraft, the Dreamliner has a two-cabin configuration, complrised of 22 seats in Business Class and 232 Economy Class seats. Individual 10.5 inch television screens are standard for all Economy Class seats, along with a full complimentary food and beverage service. With the latest innovations in comfort and service, the Dreamliner is set to make this popular journey more enjoyable than ever before.
Qatar Airways currently holds the title of World’s Best Business Class as awarded by Skytrax in 2016. Its Doha hub (HIA) was also recently awarded five stars at the Skytrax World Airport Awards, ranking Sixth Best Airport in the World overall. The airline has a modern fleet of 195 aircraft flying to more than 150 key business and leisure destinations across six continents.
