10 July 2020 | Written by Chris Alexander

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of Raffles Bali, the world’s 15th Raffles hotel and the first on the Island of the Gods. Offering unparalleled views over the Indian Ocean and framed by Bali’s famous Jimbaran Bay sunsets, Raffles Bali is home to 32 private pool villas, combining stunning views with cultural exploration and elegant seclusion in Raffles’ accommodation and facilities.

Located at the resort’s highest point, Rumari restaurant offers irresistible Balinese cooking, while a sunset terrace overlooks the ocean. Loloan Beach Bar and Grill is located on the resort’s very own secluded beach, overlooking a 25-metre infinity pool.

“Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or an intimate oasis of emotional wellbeing, Raffles Bali offers unparalleled panoramic ocean views and captivating sunsets from every villa,” says Katya Herting, general manager of Raffles Bali. “Our beachfront resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, providing utmost relaxation due to its generosity of space,” she added.

Michael Issenberg is chairman and CEO of Accor in Asia Pacific. Referring to Raffles Bali, he recently said that the resort is set to become “a special retreat for guests to feel pampered, through meaningful experiences and service that is both gracious and intuitive.”

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is a chain of luxury hotels dating back to 1887, with the opening of the original Raffles Hotel in Singapore. The hotel chain is owned by Accor and currently operates 15 luxury hotels. Raffles Bali becomes Accor’s second property under the Raffles brand in Indonesia, joining Raffles Jakarta in their portfolio of up-market Indonesian hotels and resorts.
