In order to unearth and identify destinations located in South Sumatra Province, the Tourism Office of South Sumatera recently held a seminar entitled “Exploring the Potential of South Sumatera for European Tourists in 2017”, hosted at Hotel Arista Palembang on Monday 22 August 2016.
Together with the Indonesian Marketing Association (IMA), Indonesian Hotel General Manager Association (IHGMA) and Garuda Indonesia, Panorama Destination is participating in the development of South Sumatra as a potential tourism region.Â The aim of the seminar was to provide an introduction to the interesting tourism environment and bring the beauty of South Sumatera to the attention of the world.
With a target to turn South Sumatra into one of the most popular destinations with European tourists, Panorama Destination will later be invited to visit a number of places of interest in South Sumatra, so that the company can better provide recommendations for holiday destinations to European tourists.
South Sumatra is considered to be the perfect candidate for further development to its tourism infrastructure, with its diverse wealth of cultures and tourism sites. To that end, and through this program, Panorama Destination will take part and contribute to marketing the potential of South Sumatra as a tourist destination.
Garuda Indonesia operates ten flights from Jakarta to Palembang, 1 from Medan, 2 to Denpasar Bali and 2 to Bangka Island every day.
