Ready to Reopen: Berjaya Tioman Resort
01 April 2022 | Written by Chris Alexander

Following an extended period of closure due to planned renovation works, Berjaya Tioman Resort is ready to reopen its doors and welcome back guests from 25 April 2022. The resort originally closed in 2020 to refurbish its rooms and refresh its facilities. Now, with Malaysia reopening to international arrivals, the resort’s timing could not be better.

Located on Tioman Island, just off the east coast of Pahang, Berjaya Tioman Resort can be found on a private stretch of sandy beach that’s framed by palm trees, crystal clear waters and the surrounding mountain range. The Resort has long been a favourite destination for beach lovers, hikers, sun-seekers and divers. With its 18-hole golf course, the resort is also a big hit with golfers from around the world.

When the resort reopens later this month, returning guests will also be able to enjoy a brand-new new restaurant, named ‘Asean All Day Dining’, which serves up a wide selection of local staples, along with international and fusion cuisines.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to rediscover this tropical paradise,” said Mr Simon Tan, the recently appointed Resort Manager of Berjaya Tioman Resort. “Come dine and drink to your heart’s content with unlimited inclusions throughout your stay. We guarantee you it’s going to be a fresh and exciting holiday experience in Tioman,” he added.

To celebrate its reopening, Berjaya Tioman Resort is also offering 15% savings on its

Infinite Getaway package and 20% savings on its Best Flexible Rates. The former includes two nights’ accommodation, daily breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and unlimited flow of selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The first 100 bookings will also receive a one-time Aromatherapy Spa Treatment, one-time kayak usage and complimentary bicycle rental.
