“Jet Airways is a leading international airline with a major presence in India and across the world,” stated Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways, upon confirmation of the expansion. “We are pleased to expand cooperation with Jet Airways to strengthen our respective route networks and offer business and leisure travellers with unprecedented and convenient access to new gateways,” he continued. In addition, Jet Airways’ codeshare means passengers travelling on Bangkok Airways can enjoy the boutique airline’s unparalleled services, including lounge access and in-flight meals.
Mr. Gaurang Shetty, Whole-time Director, Jet Airways, said, “This is a continuation of our efforts to offer our guests more choice and connectivity options across key markets around the globe. The expansion between Jet and Bangkok Airways is expected to provide a major boost for tourism and trade between India and Thailand in the coming months.
