The culinary team department of Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park recently participated in several culinary competitions at THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019, Bangkok’s largest food and beverage expo. The hotel won a gold medal with trophy, nine silver medals, and five bronze medals.
“Once again, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park participated in THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019,” said Simon Bell, General Manager of Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. “This time we sent our creative chefs from various culinary sections to enter competitions at the Expo”, he continued.
“We are proud that our chefs have been recognised for their hard work and creativity. These achievements encourage them to always perform better and reach new heights for the benefit of our customers,” concluded Simon Bell.
The challenges at THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019 varied. Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park won a gold medal with trophy from the “Main Course Beef Challenge”. The hotel also won a total of nine silver medals from the challenges of: “Belgian Fries Back to Basic Dip and Topping”, “Main Course Pork and Chicken”, “Canadian Frozen Lobster Culinary”, as well as three silver medals from “Set Menu for Cruise” and two silver medals from “Thai Set Menu.”
Other prizes include five bronze medals and a few certificates. These achievements are a point of pride for Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park; considered one of the leading venues for food and beverages in Bangkok and Thailand.
