Dusit Thani Hua Hin Continues Evolution
27 December 2019 | Written by Chris Alexander

Dusit Thani Hua Hin has recently unveiled their new-look guest rooms and suites, following the completion of an extensive set of renovations that first began in May 2019. Owned and operated by Dusit International, the Thai hotel has announced its transformation just in time for their 29th anniversary.

The five-star beachside resort, located in Prachuap Khiri Khan province in the Gulf of Thailand, has updated 204 units of accommodation, as part of a rejuvenation process designed to take guest experience to the next level in 2020. In addition to the rejuvenation of rooms and suites, the Dusit Thani’s ballroom was also revamped, while the all-day dining restaurant also benefitted from an upgrade.

“Our renovations, which maintain the resort’s classic identity, while giving it a fresh new look, will ensure we are well-positioned to continue evolving our offerings to reach new markets,” says Pipat Patthananusorn, who is the general manager at Dusit Thani Hua Hin. “It also marks the start of our journey towards developing the resort into an enticing wellness centre, where guests will enjoy a holistic approach to well-being,” he added.

According to Patthananusorn, this new approach to wellness will place an emphasis on healthy cuisine, made using the finest organic ingredients sourced from local farmers, in line with the resort’s ‘Live Well, Eat Well’ concept. The resort combines classic Thai design with modern amenities, to create a serene and lavish getaway that echoes its pedigree as a favourite summer retreat for the Thai royal family. The hotel’s spacious grounds comprise an ornamental lake, lily pond, tropical gardens and two magnificent swimming pools.

Guests can also enjoy water sports venues, tennis and squash courts, a fitness centre and sports pavilion. A range of dining and entertainment options, along with the Devarana Spa, allow visitors to relax and rejuvenate.

Phase two of the resort’s evolution, which will focus on an additional 92 guest rooms, is scheduled for completion in 2020.
