Vietnam posts nearly US$ 11 billion in tourism revenue
The number of international visitors increased by 68% over the same period last year, according to statistics of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT). In April alone, the country welcomed over 1.5 million foreign holidaymakers. In particular, the number of travellers to Vietnam in the four months was 3.9% higher than the pre-COVID-19 period, indicating positive recovery and development of the tourism sector.

Times of India recommends top destinations in Vietnam
Topping the list suggested by the Indian newspaper is Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital of Vietnam. Hanoi boasts a glorious history, rich culture and exceptional street food. The Times of India suggests that tourists explore street food tours, French-style villas, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

Vietnam tourism industry promotes green transformation
Vietnam’s tourism sector is striving to speed up green transformation with the ultimate goal of sustainable development. According to Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of the Tourism Development Research Institute under the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), tourism should take the lead in implementing green transformation following the national strategy for green growth project approved by the Prime Minister.
