Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing, recently attended the launch of a high-speed train in Qingdao, China, which he lauded as a historic moment for our country. Taking to his official Facebook page, Tiong shared that what was launched was not an ordinary train, but one that is adorned with promotional materials for tourism in Malaysia, aptly named the “Malaysia: Truly Asia” high-speed train.

Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign launched in Istanbul
Malaysia has unveiled a campaign that it seeks to rely on to help the Southeast Asian nation attract more tourists from around the world. The Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign was introduced at the Colours of the World event held in Istanbul’s Yenikapı neighbourhood. The launch was led by Malaysia’s Istanbul Consul General Ahmad Amiri Abu Bakar, who introduced the campaign’s official logo, mascot and theme song.
