Hue and Danang promote Muslim-friendly tourism to Malaysian visitors
The central cities of Hue and Da Nang are making a continued bid to boost the tourism industry by responding to the increasing demand for Muslim-friendly holidays. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of Hue City’s Department of Tourism, recently noted that Malaysia is among the key markets of the central region of Vietnam. Tram underscored that proactive efforts played a significant part in the development of Muslim-friendly surroundings, including Halal certification of restaurants in the area and enhanced services in hotels and resorts to be able to handle Muslim guests’ needs.

Vietnam Airlines to offer promotions at ITE HCMC 2025
Vietnam Airlines will present a range of special promotions and activities to stimulate travel demand and promote Vietnam tourism when the national flag carrier and its member companies takes part in the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2025) from 4–6 September. Deputy CEO of Vietnam Airlines Nguyen The Bao said the event is not only a trade promotion platform but also a symbol of the vitality and creativity of Vietnam’s tourism industry.

Central Vietnam promoted as multi-experience destination
A tourism programme showcasing Central Vietnam as a diverse and attractive destination was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 27August. The event was co-organised by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hue Department of Tourism, with the participation of 20 leading travel businesses from the two localities. With the message of “Central Vietnam: One Destination – Endless Experiences,” the programme introduced new offerings to more than 100 Indonesian partners, including MICE, weddings, golf, luxury resorts and Halal-friendly services for Muslim travellers.
