A message from Panorama Destination Indonesia
Warm greetings from Indonesia.
As we approach the final months of the year, I am pleased to share some encouraging developments for our tourism sector. International connectivity continues to improve, with Turkish Airlines increasing their schedule to Indonesia from seven to nine flights per week effective 28 October 2025. In addition, Scoot has announced new routes to Labuan Bajo, Medan, Palembang and Semarang, to be launched in phases between December this year and February 2026. These expansions will make it easier than ever for travellers to explore Indonesia’s diverse destinations.
Looking ahead, our tourism calendar features several cultural and creative highlights. The Pemuteran Bali Bay Festival (6-8 November) will once again celebrate the underwater beauty of North Bali’s coral reefs, alongside traditional Balinese art and community performances. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Film Festival in Jakarta on 20 November will showcase outstanding works from our national film industry and creative talents.
This November, our focus remains on Sumatra, Java, Bali and Lombok, where we continue to develop sustainable and experience-led products. We will also begin our first session of guide training for the low season, ensuring our teams remain well-prepared, responsive and committed to delivering excellent service for our guests.
I am also delighted to share that in October 2025 we recorded a growth of around 20% compared to the same period last year, with the majority of our clients coming from Europe and North America — including FIT, groups and incentive travellers — with Java and Bali remaining the most popular destinations.
Monsoon season is approaching, and with it comes a renewed appreciation for Indonesia’s natural beauty, cultural warmth and authentic experiences. This week, we also look forward to welcoming our partners and clients at WTM London 2025 (4-6 November), where Panorama Destination Indonesia will be exhibiting under Indonesia Pavilion N9–220. If you’re visiting the show, please drop by and say hello!
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
Warm regards,

Ricky Setiawanto,
Director of Business Development, Panorama Destination Indonesia
