TAT Receives Global Leadership Award 2025  

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has been honoured with the Global Leadership Award 2025 for Industry Excellence in Tourism Innovation and Transformation at the 13th edition of the Global Leadership Awards (GLA), held last night (14 October 2025) at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. The prestigious event brought together visionary leaders and innovators from around the world to celebrate excellence, creativity and positive impact across multiple industries.

Big Events to Boost Thailand Tourism in Q4 2025  

Thailand aims to attract 12 million international tourists in the last four months of 2025, with major events like the Grand Diwali Festival and World Loy Krathong driving revenue of over 580 billion baht. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has set its sights on attracting 12 million foreign tourists to the country during the final four months of 2025, a 7% decrease from the same period last year. The focus is on increasing tourist spending to generate approximately 580 billion baht, a 3% drop from the previous year.

Foreign Tourist Arrivals in Thailand Surpass 25 Million  

Thailand has welcomed over 25 million international visitors in 2025, generating more than 1.15 trillion baht in tourism revenue. Malaysia, China, India, Russia and South Korea are the top five source markets. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports released the latest update on Thailand’s tourism situation. From January 1 to October 12, 2025, a total of 25,096,346 foreign visitors arrived in Thailand, a 7.54% decrease from the same period last year. These visitors generated approximately 1.159 trillion baht in revenue.

Thailand Showcases Tourism Excellence at ITB Asia 2025 in Singapore  

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) officially launched the Thailand Pavilion at ITB Asia 2025, held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kittipong Prapattong, Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development at TAT, and attended by Ms. Yatika Kaewborisoot, Director of the TAT Singapore Office, Mr. Kitjawat Tacharoen, Counsellor representing the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, along with senior executives from TAT, the Chonburi Provincial Administration Organization Council, and the Phuket Tourist Association.
