Destination: Indonesia

A message from Panorama Destination Indonesia

Warm greetings from Indonesia!

May presents a dynamic and meaningful time to explore Indonesia, shaped by a rich calendar of national holidays and cultural celebrations. This month, we look forward to Eid al-Adha on 27 May and the spiritually significant Vesak Day on 31 May, marked by candlelight processions and ceremonies at Borobudur Temple; the world’s largest Buddhist monument.

Panorama Destination Indonesia will also participate in IMEX Frankfurt (19–21 May), strengthening our global partnerships in the meetings and events sector, while internally we prepare for our Annual General Meeting on 8 May.

Despite ongoing global challenges, including geopolitical tensions impacting travel demand, we continue to see steady group movements from Europe, North America and across ASEAN. Our focus remains on Indonesia’s most compelling destinations, including Bali, Lombok and the Gili Islands, Komodo and Labuan Bajo, Lake Toba, Bukit Lawang, and Java overland journeys.

We are also pleased to highlight our 3 Days and 2 Nights Komodo packages, offering accessible and immersive experiences in one of Indonesia’s most iconic landscapes. With three pricing options available, these tours combine the region’s most appealing attractions, with flexibility in price and preference to suit a wide range of clients.

As Indonesia enters a season of reflection and celebration, we invite travellers to experience the country not only through its destinations, but through its people, traditions and natural beauty. May is a time to connect, explore, and travel with purpose—and we are proud to welcome the world to Indonesia.

If you have any questions or special requests, we will be happy to help.

Warm regards,

Ricky Setiawanto,

Director of Business Development, Panorama Destination Indonesia
