Country Manager Message – Vietnam
Greetings from Vietnam!
We are delighted to welcome travellers from around the world this November, as Vietnam’s peak travel season gets underway. With cooler temperatures in the north and sunny island escapes in the south, this is a wonderful time to discover the country’s diverse landscapes, rich traditions and warm hospitality.
Northern Vietnam is a particular highlight this month, with pleasant conditions for exploring Hanoi’s historic streets, cruising among the limestone islands of Ha Long Bay, cycling through the peaceful valleys of Mai Chau and trekking between traditional villages in Sapa. Further south, Phu Quoc offers a tropical escape, with beautiful beaches, island excursions and fresh seafood providing the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday.
November also brings a colourful calendar of cultural celebrations. In Hanoi, the Global Festival for the Conservation and Development of Craft Villages and the Hanoi Creative Design Festival will showcase Vietnam’s artistic heritage and contemporary creativity. Meanwhile, the Ooc Om Boc Festival and traditional Ngo boat races in the Mekong Delta promise a lively celebration of Khmer culture.
Our team is already busy welcoming international visitors, including a group of 26 Indonesian guests exploring Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and Sapa, alongside French travellers enjoying a three-day cruise through the spectacular scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay.
For us, the most memorable journeys are often shaped by the little moments along the way: discovering local ingredients at a market, meeting artisans in a traditional village or sharing stories over a home-cooked meal. These authentic connections bring Vietnam’s culture to life, and our team takes great pleasure in helping visitors experience them.
