A message from Panorama Destination Indonesia
Happy New Year from Indonesia!
2025 was a year defined by strong teamwork and solid performance for Panorama Destination Indonesia. Supported by a committed and experienced team across the country, we achieved growth of more than 20% compared to 2024 — a result that reflects both our collective effort and the continued trust of our partners and clients.
Indonesia’s tourism landscape also continued to evolve throughout the year. Bali remained the most popular destination overall in 2025, supported by extensive direct international flight connections. At the same time, Labuan Bajo in Flores, the gateway to Komodo National Park, emerged as the second most popular destination. We were also proud to successfully introduce our 40 Days Indonesia programme; spanning Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Timor, Flores, Komodo and Bali, it has already gained particularly strong interest from the European market, especially travellers from the Netherlands.
Looking ahead to 2026, Indonesia remains an exceptionally compelling destination. The country blends multiple experiences into a single journey — from beaches and islands such as Bali, Lombok, Labuan Bajo, and Raja Ampat; to culture and heritage in destinations like Yogyakarta, Toraja and Bali; and nature and adventure experiences including volcanoes, rainforests, orangutan habitats and encounters with Komodo dragons. Improved connectivity and infrastructure, combined with the continued growth of high-quality and sustainable tourism, further strengthen Indonesia’s appeal. Rich cultural traditions, festivals and local events add yet another layer of depth beyond nature and wildlife.
From an operational perspective, our focus remains on Indonesia’s key tourism hubs, with offices based in Medan (North Sumatra), Yogyakarta (Java), Bali, Labuan Bajo (Flores) and Jakarta as our headquarters. This structure allows us to deliver strong destination expertise and responsive on-the-ground support across our core markets.
In January, Indonesia will host the Gospel International Festival 2026, taking place in Jakarta from 16-18 January. This major regional event will bring together performances, workshops and cross-generational collaboration, showcasing another dimension of Indonesia’s vibrant cultural scene. Later in the month, Panorama Destination Indonesia will participate in ATF 2026, held from 28–30 January in Cebu, Philippines, alongside the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism.
Our destination focus this month is on Java and Bali, with particular emphasis on our Java–Bali Overland programme and Bali Round Trip itineraries. Internally, we will also begin the year with both offline and virtual town hall meetings in the second week of January 2026, bringing together team members from our Jakarta headquarters and all domestic and international branches to align on challenges, priorities and strategies for the year ahead.
Our hope for 2026 is clear: to remain focused on our targets, further improve service quality, and continue strengthening our commitment to green and sustainable tourism.
As we begin the new year, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for the trust, collaboration and partnership we have shared with you over the past year. Your continued support has been instrumental in navigating challenges and unlocking new opportunities together. The year ahead presents strong potential for growth, as travel demand continues to shift toward meaningful, sustainable, and high-quality experiences — an area where our partnership is well positioned to deliver real value.
Thank you once again for your continued confidence and cooperation. We look forward to another year of productive collaboration and shared achievements, and we wish you and your team a successful and prosperous 2026.
Warm regards,

Ricky Setiawanto,
Director of Business Development, Panorama Destination Indonesia
