Destination: Indonesia

A message from Panorama Destination Indonesia

Warm greetings from Indonesia!

February brings several important celebrations to Indonesia’s cultural calendar. Chinese New Year will be celebrated on 16 February, followed by the start of Ramadan on 20 February – a period marked by reflection, community and distinctive local traditions. These meaningful celebrations can also add cultural depth and interest for visitors travelling during this period.

As we move into 2026, Panorama Destination Indonesia is setting clear and ambitious goals for the year ahead. Building on our strong 2025 performance, we are targeting 20% growth by the end of 2026, supported by focused product development and continued collaboration with our partners across the country.

Our destination focus remains on Sumatra, Java, Bali and Lombok, with careful planning around the ongoing monsoon season. One key product highlight is our “Wake Up in Bali” programme, which will be launched in mid-February and remains valid until December 2026, offering flexible and appealing options for a wide range of travellers.

January and February are traditionally calmer months due to the low season, with most of our current clients coming from ASEAN, wider Asia, South Africa and selected European markets. This quieter period allows us to focus on personalised service and bespoke itinerary planning.

February is also a wonderful time to experience Indonesia. Lush green landscapes after the rainy season, fewer crowds in many destinations and vibrant local life create a refreshing travel atmosphere. From the serene beaches of Bali and Lombok to the cultural heart of Yogyakarta, Indonesia offers unforgettable experiences for every type of traveller. It is also an ideal time for wellness retreats, cultural tours, culinary journeys and eco-adventures.

If you would like to learn more, or are ready to begin building the ideal Indonesian getaway package, our team is ready to support you with customised itineraries, comfortable accommodation, reliable transportation and a wide range of authentic local experiences. We look forward to welcoming your clients to Indonesia and helping you create meaningful travel memories for them in February 2026.

Warm regards,

Ricky Setiawanto,

Director of Business Development, Panorama Destination Indonesia
