A message from Panorama Destination Indonesia

Hello from Indonesia!

This month brings important updates for international travellers to Indonesia. For starters, the Government has just recently launched the All Indonesia application – a centralised digital platform designed to streamline immigration, health, quarantine and customs clearance procedures for all incoming visitors.

Starting from today (Monday, 1st September 2025), the app will become a mandatory entry requirement for all visitors, and must be filled in no later than three days before departure from their country of origin. The objective is to simplify entry procedures, reduce waiting times and ensure a smoother travel experience upon arrival. The app is available for download via the Play Store, App Store or the official site here.

In line with this digital innovation, Indonesia’s President has also announced plans to further boost tourism by reopening international airports across more major cities. This is an exciting step toward welcoming more visitors from around the world.

Looking ahead, several key events are coming up in the calendar: the Bali International Airshow (10–13 September) and the Grebeg Maulud ceremonies in Yogyakarta (5 September), which feature traditional cone-shaped offerings in celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

Panorama Destination Indonesia will also be represented at ITCMA Bangkok from 23-25 September, and this month we are highlighting some of the country’s most iconic destinations: Lake Toba and Bukit Lawang Orangutan National Park in North Sumatra, Borobudur Temple in Yogyakarta, Bromo and Ijen in East Java, Toraja Land in South Sulawesi, Komodo National Park in Labuan Bajo and of course, Bali and Lombok.

As we move through what feels almost like another high season, we continue to welcome many guests, particularly from Europe. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients and partners for your trust and collaboration throughout the summer. Together, we have created memorable journeys and meaningful connections, and I look forward to welcoming you – and your guests – back to Indonesia for the next holiday season.

Warm regards,

Ricky Setiawanto,

Director of Business Development, Panorama Destination Indonesia
