A message from Panorama Destination Thailand
Hello from Thailand!
As we enter the final stretch of the year, there is a sense of excitement building across the country as we prepare for one of our most beautiful and meaningful cultural festivals. Loy Krathong and the Yi Peng Lantern Festival, taking place from 4–6 November 2025, will once again illuminate the skies and waterways of Chiang Mai, where thousands of floating lanterns and candlelit krathong create an unforgettable atmosphere. For travellers seeking culture, beauty and a truly unique experience, this is one of the best times to visit Thailand.
Connectivity also continues to improve. In Q4 2025, new international routes will be launched to both Bangkok and Phuket. These include United Airlines operating from San Francisco to Bangkok, Norse Atlantic Airways connecting Manchester, Oslo and Stockholm to Phuket, and Air France adding direct flights from Paris to Phuket. These new routes will further open access for travellers from Europe and North America to our northern mountains and southern beaches.
Looking ahead, we will be attending WTM London 2025 from 4–6 November. Panorama Destination Thailand will be located in Hall N10-210, table number 18, inside the Tourism Authority of Thailand pavilion. We look forward to meeting partners, renewing relationships and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
This month, our focus remains strongly on Chiang Mai, with special attention to festival programmes that combine cultural experiences, local cuisine and scenic northern landscapes. Across Thailand, both groups and FITs continue to travel widely, with our best-selling itineraries including combined journeys through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
As we say goodbye to summer and welcome the cooler season, Thailand offers its most comfortable weather of the year. The northern regions are perfect for hiking and cultural exploration, while the southern coast is ideal for beach relaxation and island travel.
