A message from Panorama Destination Thailand
Hello from Thailand!
As we move into the final month of 2025, Thailand is experiencing a period of reflection and resilience. Following the passing of Her Majesty the Queen Mother, the nation has entered a formal mourning period. Travellers who wish to visit the Grand Palace during this time are advised to follow the official guidelines to ensure a respectful and well-prepared experience.
In other news, the Thailand–Cambodia land borders remain closed until further notice, with additional safety measures in place across the eastern and northeastern regions. Despite this, travel throughout most of Thailand continues smoothly, and major tourism areas are operating as normal.
Looking ahead, Thailand is preparing to host one of the region’s biggest sporting events: the SEA Games 2025, with competitions taking place across multiple provinces. December also brings a variety of seasonal festivals around the country, offering travellers a vibrant mix of culture, food and entertainment.
With cooler temperatures in the north and crystal-clear seas in the south, December is one of the best months to explore Thailand. While some flooding persists along the far southern border, this has no impact on key tourist destinations. This month, we are highlighting Chiang Rai; a destination known for its mountain landscapes, cool climate and rich cultural heritage.
We are also delighted to welcome travellers from around the world, including charter flights from Poland—three flights weekly to Bangkok and two to Phuket. Many of our guests are travelling on extended 2–3-week itineraries, enabling them to discover Thailand at a relaxed, rewarding pace.
