Destination: Thailand

A message from Panorama Destination Thailand

Greetings from Thailand!

Thailand continues to strengthen its position as one of Asia’s most dynamic tourism destinations, with a strong focus on visitor safety, service quality and authentic cultural experiences.

Recent government initiatives include measures to enhance tourism safety standards and ongoing updates to visa policies, helping to ensure Thailand remains both welcoming and accessible to international travellers. At the same time, new tourism products and destination developments continue to emerge across the country, offering fresh opportunities for visitors seeking meaningful and memorable experiences.

June is a particularly vibrant time to visit Thailand, with cultural celebrations taking centre stage. One of the highlights is the Phi Ta Khon Festival in Loei Province from 20–22 June, one of Thailand’s most iconic and colourful events. Famous for its striking ghost masks, lively parades and centuries-old traditions, the festival offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into local beliefs and community heritage. Pride Month celebrations will also take place nationwide, reflecting Thailand’s growing reputation as an inclusive and welcoming destination for all travellers.

For those looking beyond the well-known destinations, Koh Yao Yai offers a refreshing alternative. Located between Phuket and Krabi, this peaceful island combines pristine beaches, traditional fishing communities and a slower pace of life, making it an ideal destination for travellers seeking authentic Thai charm away from the crowds.

We are also pleased to share that Panorama Destination Thailand will celebrate its fifth anniversary on 15 June, marking five years of delivering exceptional destination management services and unforgettable travel experiences throughout the Kingdom. We look forward to welcoming our partners and guests to discover even more of what Thailand has to offer in 2026.
