A message from Panorama Destination Thailand
Hello from Bangkok!
If you’re one of the many people watching The White Lotus series on HBO, you’ll probably already have a pretty clear idea of what makes Thailand such an attractive choice for holidaymakers. Since the series aired, we’ve already seen an 88% increase in internet searches for Koh Samui and a 44% rise in hotel bookings on the island. The Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) predicts that Koh Samui may not even experience a low season this year, due to the popularity of the series. A great example of free marketing, I think you’ll agree!
In other news, Thailand is set to launch a brand-new new luxury bus service to Pattaya and Hua Hin, connecting the capital’s Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports to Hua Hin and Pattaya. Set to roll out from 8 March onwards, the new service will allow travellers to reach these popular locations in style and comfort.
This month is a great time to visit Thailand, with some exciting events coming up in the calendar. From 1-10 March at Thai Mueang Beach in Phang Nga Province, the Sea Turtle Conservation Festival is a great option for nature lovers interested in responsible tourism. Here they can witness the release of rehabilitated turtles back to their ocean home. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to actively participate in protecting our precious marine ecosystems.
For music lovers, Pattaya Music Festival 2025 is not to be missed. Held every Friday and Saturday in March in Pattaya, Chon Buri Province, these free concerts will take place on Pattaya’s main beaches and parks. With an exciting lineup of artists planned, this event promises a weekend full of music, fun, and beach vibes!
This month, we have a celebration of our own to look forward to – Panorama Destination Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia will all be attending ITB Berlin from 4-6 March. You can find us all in Hall 26, stand number 112A. See you there!
We currently have a few charters from Poland, groups from the Netherlands and USA, and many FIT couples travelling around Thailand with Panorama Destination. This time of year is great for visiting the southern beaches, and many of our clients are headed there for their holidays as we speak.
March is the end of high season in Thailand. We still see a huge number of tourists, as the weather in Thailand in March is still pleasantly warm, but not too hot or wet yet. For sun-seekers, we recommended hitting the southern beaches (Ko Samui, Koh Tao, Krabi, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Trang, Koh Lanta and Phuket) from March until June, before the rain season starts from July onwards.
If you have any questions or special requests, do let me know. We’ll be happy to help.
Best wishes,
Pat Pattaranan Sappattarabune
