A message from Panorama Destination Thailand
Greetings from Bangkok!
October is an exciting time to experience Thailand. While occasional rainfall can still be expected, this is the final month of the shoulder season, bringing opportunities for competitive hotel rates and special promotions. It is also an excellent time to look north, where mountains, rural landscapes and cooler conditions provide the backdrop for hiking, cycling, rafting, river journeys and visits to local communities.
The month ahead also brings a busy calendar of events. The Phuket Vegetarian Festival takes place from 10–18 October, while Bangkok will host rehearsals for the spectacular Royal Barge Procession throughout the month. The capital will also welcome the IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings from 12–18 October at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, further reinforcing Bangkok’s position as a major international meetings and events destination.
It will also be a busy month for Panorama Destination Thailand. Our team recently celebrated the expansion of our office with a traditional blessing, which also marked our ninth anniversary. From 21–23 October, we will join colleagues from across Panorama Destination at ITB Asia in Singapore, where we look forward to reconnecting with partners and showcasing our latest products and experiences.
This month, we are particularly excited to highlight our journeys through lesser-known destinations in northern Thailand. Our latest itinerary travels beyond the familiar routes to explore places such as Lampang, Phayao, Phu Chi Fa and Mae Salong, combining cultural heritage with spectacular landscapes and active experiences.
Whether you are planning ahead or looking for a last-minute escape, October is a rewarding time to discover Thailand. Contact our team for the latest low-season offers, hotel deals and tailor-made itineraries.
