A message from Panorama Destination Thailand
Hello from Bangkok!
Let’s kick off February with some good news from last year: Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has confirmed the kingdom welcomed over 35 million visitors in 2024. According to TAT, the country is now targeting between 36 and 39 million international visitors in 2025, and Thailand is ready to “strengthen its position as a premier global Tourism Hub, offering exceptional experiences and fostering sustainable growth across the sector.”
To support this global growth, Thailand officially launched the Thai e-Visa worldwide on 1 January 2025. The new system will make the visa process “more modern and efficient” for foreign nationals by streamlining the screening process for individuals entering the country. With less paperwork, and data integrated with other relevant agencies, this should make the visa application process smoother than ever before.
Next, a few notifications: Makabucha Day, a national public holiday, is coming up on 12 February. Please note our office will be closed on this date. Two days later it will be Valentine’s Day, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate an unforgettably romantic occasion in the Land of Smiles. You take a dinner cruise, enjoy a private dinner together on the beach or on a rooftop. Please contact us for more details, and we’ll be happy to make the necessary arrangements for your clients.
Looking for some inspiration for travel itineraries this February? We can strongly recommend North Thailand, where the weather is ideal up until March. The region is home to all kinds of historical, cultural and natural highlights, from the old town of Phrae to the natural wonders of Mae Yom National Park and Ban Pong Village, where travellers can escape the crowds amid the peaceful rural landscapes.
The summer season in Thailand is fast approaching, and the sun is getting stronger day by day. Now is the ideal time to secure your holidays for summer in advance, so please get in touch to check out our latest promotions. We look forward to hearing your requests, and helping to make your clients’ Thailand vacation a magical getaway with us.
