Country Manager Message – Vietnam
Dear partners and friends,
November is a special month here, marked by a series of cultural celebrations that showcase the depth and diversity of Vietnamese traditions. One of the most captivating is the Ooc Om Bok Festival in Soc Trang, where communities of the Mekong Delta give thanks to the Moon Deity for a bountiful harvest. The festival features traditional dragon boat races, floating lantern ceremonies and Khmer cultural performances, offering travellers a meaningful connection to the region’s heritage.
In the Central Highlands, Da Lat begins its pre-season preparations for the annual Flower Festival. While the main event takes place in December, November already brings the first displays, colourful valleys of wild sunflowers, and peaceful garden walks in the cool mountain air. This year, Da Lat will also introduce drone light shows over Xuan Huong Lake, adding a modern touch to its romantic atmosphere.
Another cultural moment to note is Vietnam Teachers’ Day on 20 November, when schools and communities across the country share heartfelt celebrations to honour educators. It’s a beautiful insight into the respect and gratitude embedded in Vietnamese culture.
This month, our key destination focus is Phu Quoc Island. November marks the start of the dry season, bringing clear skies, warm breezes and calm seas—the ideal conditions for beach holidays, wellness retreats and romantic escapes. The launch of Sun Phu Quoc Airways has further improved accessibility, making it easier for travellers to reach the island and explore its white sand beaches, national park forests and diverse coastal resorts.
As the seasons shift across the country, Vietnam offers something for every traveller: cool mornings and mountain landscapes in the North, cultural charm in the Central region, and tropical relaxation in the South. Whether your guests are seeking nature, culture or rest, this is the perfect time to experience Vietnam.
If you have any questions or special requests, we’ll be happy to help.
Warmest wishes,
Nguyen Thi Minh Trang
