Dear partners and friends,
As the year draws to a close, Vietnam transforms into a country alive with light, colour and festive spirit. Two celebrations take centre stage this month—Christmas and New Year’s Eve—each offering travellers an unforgettable glimpse into Vietnamese culture and the joyful atmosphere that fills the nation at this time of year.
December is also one of the best months to experience Vietnam’s stunning regional contrasts. In the North, visitors can enjoy Hanoi’s timeless winter charm, the misty landscapes of Sapa and the emerald karsts of Ha Long Bay. Central Vietnam—from Da Nang to Hoi An—shimmers under gentle seasonal rains, with lantern-lit streets and cultural heritage at every turn. Further south, lively Saigon enjoys cool breezes and festive nights, while beaches and islands offer warm sunshine and excellent holiday getaways.
