Starting from August 15, 2023, Vietnam is offering eVisa to citizens of all countries and territories, allowing a 90-day stay with multiple entries permitted

Foreigners with eVisa are allowed to enter Vietnam via:

Visa on Arrival
US$ 56,07 per entry. The tourist visa fee is subject to change without prior notice, so it is a good idea to stay updated by visiting the nearest Thai Embassy or consulate in your area.
93 Countries Eligible for Visa Exemption Scheme
For Visa on Arrival, clients travelling to Vietnam must submit a printed hard copy of the Visa approval letter to the departure Airline check-in desk, along with a passport with at least 6 months validity and 2 free pages, and then submit the same letter and passport again on arrival at Vietnam immigration. Failure to do so will mean clients will not be allowed to exit their home Country/enter Vietnam. A stamping fee of $25 cash applies on arrival at Vietnam Immigration along with 2 passport photos.
Passport details on the Visa approval letter should exactly match the passport the clients are travelling with. Special care should be taken if clients are intending to renew/apply for new passport soon before Travel to ensure the Visa letter is issued with the correct information.
From 20th December 2016, US Citizen can have 1-month visa with stamping fee US$25 for single entry and US$50 for multiple entry.
Tourists traveling to Phnom Penh from Vietnam by road through Moc Bai or by boat via Chau Doc border gates can obtain Cambodian visa at the border gate, the same is available at the borders with Laos. Vietnamese visa on arrival is only recommended at the three International Airports. Visa on arrival for Vietnam is possible at some land crossings, but due to border bureaucracy this is not recommended.
